Airoh

Family-owned Italian company Airoh is primarily known for its premium motorsport helmets, which include adventure, race, road, motocross, urban and junior models, as well as helmets for downhill mountain biking. Founded in 1997 by Antonio Locatelli in Almenno San Bartolomeo near Milan, each helmet is entirely Italian-made, from initial research and development to the finished article.

Airoh currently offers 28 different models of motocross helmet, all of which boast some of the world’s highest safety standards and best comfort fits. Top of the line is the ‘Aviator’ Monster MX, made from multi-axial carbon and kevlar, and with a composite fibre external shell weight of just 950 g. The ‘Aviator’ is also available with a variety of different graphics, including Locked Gold, Revenge Black and Fast Orange.

Elsewhere in the motocross range is the wind tunnel-tested ‘Stelt’, with a composite fibre external shell weighing 1050 g, the ‘CR900’, with a thermoplastic external shell weighing 1270 g, and the ‘Dome’ and ‘Runner’, both with thermoplastic external shell weights of 1350 g. There are also two junior helmet models, the ‘Aviator J’ and ‘Mr Cross’, and a range of casual apparel, including T-shirts and hooded tops.

The ‘Aviator’ is the choice of many of Europe’s best motocross riders, including Antonio Cairoli, Jeremy Van Horebeek, Ken de Dycker, Clement Desalle, Jeffrey Herlings, Jordi Tixier and Guillod Valentin. In the USA, some of the motocross stars who trust their safety to Airoh are Jason Anderson, Davi Millsaps, Joey Savatgy and Marvin Musquin, as well as supercross rider Ivan Tedesco and GNCC rider Ryan Sipes.
