Fox Head is one of the biggest selling brands of motocross apparel in the world today. By working closely with legends of the sport such as James Stewart, Damon Bradshaw, Rick Johnson, Mark Barnett, Doug Henry, Jeremy McGrath and Steve Lamson, it has a developed a range of race clothing offering excellent protection, performance and freedom of movement.

The company started life in 1974, when Californian university professor Geoff Fox launched a small distribution business for European motocross parts and accessories, and within two years, he was manufacturing his own high-performance, handmade suspension and engine components. He also created his own professional motocross team, which performed with distinction in the highly-competitive AMA 125cc National Championship series against the might of the Japanese factory teams.

Huge demand for that team’s handmade bright red, yellow and orange race outfits turned Fox into a major player in the US motocross apparel industry. Today, it remains a family owned and operated business, offering a range of products including helmets, jerseys, pants, boots, goggles, gloves, braces and guards, performance socks, bags and packs, and outerwear.

Some of the greatest names in the history of motocross have been associated over the years with the Fox Head brand – Brad Lackey won Fox’s (and the United States’) first World Motocross Championship in 1982, and, since then, Fox-sponsored riders have won over 40 National Motocross and Supercross Championships. The current line-up of pro MX riders features Ricky Carmichael, Ken Roczen, Ronnie Renner, Carey Hart and Ryan Dungey.
