Alpinestars Tech Heated Vest offers riders excellent body temperature management, using custom developed flat panel heating elements. The Vests key features have been designed to offer optimum comfort and ease of use to meet the most demanding of riding conditions.

• Comfort

Heat panels situated throughout the Tech Heated Vest provide the rider with the optimum climate for riding. With an insulated lycra outer for warmth, the special fleece lining allows heat to pass from the elements and enhances the warming sensation. Heat panels in the chest, upper shoulder/neck and lower back, are strategically placed at specific points to aid the rider’s temperature management giving the most even spread of heat over the largest area whilst maintaining low power consumption. Heat panels self regulate at a comfortable temperature to prevent overheating.

• Power

To supply power to the jacket, a cord is connected from the bike’s battery to an adapter interface on the jacket using an integrated loom. The Tech Heated Vest uses new WIO (Wire Integration and Organisation) Technology which aids the rider with wire routing on all models of motorcycle. (Special connector available on request for BMW motorcycles.)

• Safety

Note: This vest is not an outer garment and must always be worn in conjunction with a suitable water resistant outer garment for riding.

• Additional details

The Tech Heated Vest can be used in conjunction with Alpinestars Tech Vest Electronic Temperature Regulator (ETR), available separately. Using the ETR with the Tech Heated Vest allows the rider to select from four different heat settings to give a wider range of climate control.
