Duns, Scotland was the latest venue for round 4 of the Redbull Nationals and with the sun out to play, it was full on action in all groups of racing.
Powerband Racing 65cc team riders Tom Grimshaw & Christopher Mill again came out swinging banging bars over the weekend, however they didn’t have it all there way as local ace Scott Russell gave the boys plenty to think about. Christopher gave a solid performance with 1,2,1,1,1 Score card with 1st overall to Toms 2,3,2,2,3 score card for 2nd overall. Moto 4 was eventful with Scott Russell leading the race from Christopher & Tom, however after Tom crashed he remounted and charge back to take the lead five corners from the end when Russell hit a back marker, then three corners from the end Toms power valve broke leaving Christopher to take the win and Tom 2nd. Christopher now leads the chamionship from Tom.
SW 85cc team rider George Grigg Pettitt rode really well over the weekend, but it was the last moto of the weekend when George suffered a puncture on the last lap whilst holding 4th. This unfortunately
dropped George to 8th overall for his weekend work. George will be hoping for a change in fortune as the next two rounds are in sand which he will like.
Powerband Racing next stop is back to Canada Heights, Dartford 4/5th August Redbull Nationals.
