Fourth round of the Redbull Pro Nationals saw us make the long trip to Dunns in Scotland, after six and a half hours of travelling; we arrived at the track. The track looked impressive, fast and very jumpy, and of course the Events 22 had prepared the track well.
First out for qualifying, a good qualifier, I qualified 6th which gave me a half descent gate for the races.
Race one, I did not make the best of starts, gated outside the top ten, got into a good rhythm and working hard picking off riders to eventually finishing 5th.
Race two, had a much better start than the first race, gated about 7th, again rode well for a good 3rd place finish.
Race three, similar start to race 2, the track had become very rough and gnarly, jumping into long ruts, I rode a hard race, made a few silly mistakes, but still finished in a solid 3rd place finish.
Sunday, the track had been prepared well overnight, set for two good races ahead, race four, went to the gate, gated about 8th, had to work hard to get through the riders, having some good battles along the way, and eventually finishing 3rd.
Race five, similar start to the others, still gated about 8th, pushed on hard, picking off riders and good battles, having the best ride of the weekend, and really pleased as I set the fastest lap of the race, when the track was at his roughest, and finished 2nd.
A good weekends racing finishing 3rd overall.
I would like to thank all my sponsors for their continued support.
Overall Results for the weekends:
