This weekend the MXGP circus heads to one of the biggest countries in the world, Brazil is in fact the largest country in South America with a population of over 200 million.
Here are some fun facts about Brazil, some are made up for fun so don’t believe everything we say.
1 – They love their football
Football is a game where they kick around a leather ball and try to place it in a net…oh and the players like to roll around on the floor crying when supposedly kicked.
In all seriousness the Brazilians are outstanding with legendary players such as Zico, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos and not forgetting the GOAT, Pele. The 2014 Fifa World Cup will be hosted in Brazil.
Here’s a little reminder of how good Pele was.
2 – Pizza lovers
For some reason Brazilians love Pizza especially in Sao Paulo.
For many Sao Paulo residents, dinner with the family at the neighborhood pizza joint is a Sunday ritual. People of all ages line up for hours outside pizzerias every Sunday night all over this sprawling metropolis to get their weekly fix.
3 - Bob Burnquist is not an American
One of the best skateboarders to ever, Big Bob is actually from Brazil, born Roberto Dean Silva Burnquist in Rio de Janeiro. If you’re insure who he is then check the video out.
4 MMA is huge and getting bigger
They sure like a tear up, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) in Brazil is a huge sport producing some of the legends of the ring including the once unbeatable Royce Gracie and quite possibly the best pound for pound fighter in the sport Anderson Silva.
5 Brings tears to the eyes just thinking about it
The Brazilian bikini wax was invented in New York in 1987 by 7 Brazilian born sisters – ouch!! If you want it completely bare, it’s called a “Hollywood” wax!)
6 Stacked full of amazing women
Brazil has some of the most beautiful women in the world including famous models such as Gisele Bundchen, Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and Flavia De Oliveira – amazing.

Did you know Brazil has the longest beach in the world and measures 7500km long?
8 Lets Party!
Th Carnival is the most popular festival in Brazil, and thousands of tourists come every year to celebrate it.

Brazil contains almost 60% of the Amazon rain forest and the Amazon River, which dominates the country, is the 2nd longest river in the world.
10 Coffee makes the world go around
Brazil is the largest producer of coffee in the world. The main feature of the coffee grown in Brazil is the great diversity due to differences in soils, climate, species and varieties, and cultivation techniques in each region.
