The 2010 Maxxis British motocross championship dates and venues have now been finally confirmed.

There are eight rounds in total with two new venues added for the 2010 season and they are Little Silver near Exeter which is normally a MMX circuit opener and Mallory Park the venue for the 2009 British GP.

Also back by popular demand is Farleigh Castle near Bath, great move by the ACU to run a Veterans event on the same weekend as I’m sure Farleigh could turn out to be one of the biggest events of the year.

Another interesting development is a possible event to be staged at Silverstone home of British formula 1 racing, stayed tuned to MOTO for more on this one very shortly.

2010 will also host four rounds of the popular MXY2 series, one round of the ladies championship and a two round veterans championship – rumours are also circulating that the championship races will be three 20min motos for MX1 and MX2.

28th February. Little Silver, Exeter supported with Ladies Championship
21st March. Mallory Park, supported by MXY2 (Youth) Class
2nd May. Duns, Scottish Borders. Scottish riders support.
13th June Lyng, Norfolk supported by MXY2 class
25th July Foxhill supported by MXY2 class
15th August Farleigh Castle supported by Veterans
29th August Landrake or Silverstone supported by MXY2
3rd October Hawkstone Park with Veterans support class
