2010 Maxxis championship dates confirmed!

maxxislogo 2010 Maxxis championship dates confirmed!

Within hours of the dates being announced at the FIM Congress in Geneva, ACU Events Ltd., the Series Promoters have issued a final calendar showing the 2010 dates, starting at the end of February. The list shows three changes from the provisional list originally issued as three GP dates have been changed and the British Championship always avoids date clashes with any MX1/2 Grand Prix, as many of the top riders ride in both series.

The dates are as follows;
Sunday 28th February
Sunday 21st March
Sunday 2nd May
Sunday 13th June
Sunday 25th July
Sunday 15th August
Sunday 29th August
Sunday 3rd October

The venues will be released shortly, but it is understood that, whilst maintaining a balance of high profile and traditional venues, at least two new ones will be added to the list. It is also understood that the championship will once again take in all parts of the country and the details of some new innovations to make the series even more spectator friendly will be announced in the next few weeks.
