A day in Pink

AMCA MX2 Championship contender Marc Roe of Saynt Clothing hosted his “Day in Pink” charity motocross event at a superbly prepared Apex Motocross on Good Friday. Recent weather conditions almost forced a cancellation as Apex was under snow on the preceding Saturday. Thanks to some dry and breezy days along with a vast effort put in by the guys at Apex the day was able to run and proved to be a great success raising over £1300 in aid of Breast Cancer.

The whole day was about having fun and helping to raise awareness of Breast Cancer. Riders that attended included Maxxis British Championship runner Ashley Wilde, AMCA MX2 Champ Jack Cox, Passion racing’s Head Honcho Chad Yarranton plus three crazy guys that went out for one session dressed in their cute little pink bikinis, along with over 100 others enjoying the chance of some fun and practice. Music throughout the day was compared by “Buster” Yarranton who’s very close to the knuckle style to hosting the end of day raffle went down a storm – very funny indeed.

Big thanks go out to Pure MX, Manchester Xtreme, Wizard Wash, Monster, Scorch Images, Spy Goggles, Buxton Yamaha Quads, Fox Europe , Decade, Passion Racing, Madison and Apex Motocross who all generously donated prizes for the Raffle.
