For lot of British motocross riders it has been one of the most toughest times to secure rides and sponsors for the fast approaching 2010 season, and as team managers and riders know its its going to take a while before things start to pick up. Although the majority of riders are signed up ready for the new year, there are still a few that have been sitting quietly under the radar waiting for things to drop in to place. Alex Snow is one of those riders, and after suffering a shoulder injury mid season which end his year, the 2008 British under 21 champion was forced to take a 3 month break in order to under go surgery and to start on his preparation for 2010 which has taken longer than expected.

After a lot of hard work the 21 year old from the South West has finally found himself on his feet again as he jumps from orange to green, to join forces with Albion Motorcycles and Kawasaki UK to race MX1 in the domestic national championships in the UK next year.

”I am really pleased to finally have sorted a deal for next year on Albion Kawasaki. It has been extremely tough to get things in place, but now things are coming together and its nice to be able to relax knowing things are moving in the right direction. Id like to say a big thanks to Gary at Albion and Ross at Kawasaki, for putting together this deal and making everything happen, and now i can look forward to racing again” commented Snow.

Gary Elston from Albion commented ”I am very pleased to have put a deal together for Alex and help him in his preparation for 2010. I believe it will be a great opportunity for Albion and Alex to work together being based so close together in the South West, and we both look forward to having a successful year.”

With winter preparations well underway and the all clear from the doctor to start riding again Alex is excited to be back on the bike, and with a complete new look and change of colour believes its a fresh start to propel him towards the first British Championship on February 28th.

A big thanks for all the other contributing sponsors- Alpinestar, Troylee, CTI, Southfork Racing, Renthal, Pro Carbon, Pulse Racing, Dep, Samco, Fro Systems, P.J Couriers, and Broomsmead Tarmac Specialists.
