Yet another bike disappears, when is it going to end?

A DISTINCTIVE motocross bike has been stolen from a garage at Shatterford.

The red and black Honda CR85 was being stored in a garage at Arley Lane Houses, which was broken into between 1.30am and 9am on Friday.

The machine, worth £1,500, has red and black graphics on the fuel tank, with the words AMS Oil and Chaparral, red Talon petrol cap, hubs and rear sprocket, black XL wheel rims and gold-coloured “fatboy” handlebars, with grey grips and red handguards.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: “The thieves used cutting gear to break into the garage and it may be that someone heard something or noticed some unusual activity in the area at the time. If so, then they should call us.

“This machine was used as a practice bike by a local teenager who is devastated that it has been stolen.

“It is a very distinctive bike and if anyone sees it or knows who might have taken it then we would urge them to get in touch.”

Police can be contacted on 030… or call Crimestoppers, anonymously and free, on 080….
