Bike stolen in Wrexham
A WREXHAM man is convinced his property was ‘cased’ by thieves who broke into his garage to steal possessions, including a £2,000 motocross bike.
Kenneth Smith, of Heol Ddyfrdwy, is appealing for information following the break-in, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He believes the thieves live locally.
The burglary is the latest in a spate of thefts from outbuildings and vehicles in the Johnstown area in recent days.
Mr Smith said: “They must have known what they were after because as well as the bike they took everything linked to it – the helmet, gloves, and boots.
“I usually leave the car in the garage, but they waited until the one night when it was out on the drive so they could get the bike out before breaking in.
