With the New Year finally here the motocross fraternity is set to get rolling for 2009. The first two major weekends of Supercross are fast approaching with the final three rounds of the 2008/2009 British Supercross Championship just weeks away on January 23rd and 24th at Liverpool Echo Arena and January 31st at The O2 Arena in London.
Future West are in full swing preparing for the final two weekends of the Supercross season. Riders are lining up in droves for all classes including the brand new quad class, which will debut on Saturday January 24th at Liverpool Echo Arena. Defending Pro SX1 and SX2 champs Mike Brown and Colton Facciotti will be back in action. Facciotti who is the defending SX2 champ currently leads the SX1 championship after winning at round one at Sheffield back in October, whilst defending SX1 champion Mike Brown currently leads the series in the SX2 class after Sheffield.

With the absence of current British Open points leader Tommy Searle for the last three rounds it now looks like MVRD Suzuki rider Carl Nunn is the favourite in the British Open Supercross title hunt with Par Honda rider Gordon Crockard sitting in third behind Nunn. As many know a lot can happen in Supercross and with three rounds remaining nothing is solidified just yet. Tickets are moving fast for Liverpool for both Friday and Saturday and London is selling extremely well.
