The bright, blue and most importantly dry day yesterday (Sunday) brought the spectators in their thousands to watch some of the best motocross racers in the world compete.
The Salop club made a fantastic job of preparing the track and the crowds (and most of the other racers) were treated to a motocross master class from Clement Desalle in the MX1 class and Arnaud Tonus in MX2.
Young Buildbase Honda racers Ryan Houghton and Jordan Booker flew the flag for the team in the absence of Nicolas Aubin and while both their days were not without drama, Ryan managed a strong 16th in moto 2 while Jordan`s combined results gave him a top 15 place overall and launched him into the Super Final race (won by Tonus) at the end of the day.
The team are now busy making the final touches in preparation for the first round of the Maxxis British Championship at Fat Cat Motopark on 11th March where Nico` and the whole team will be in action once again.
While Ryan Houghton gains some more valuable experience in Holland in their National Championship this coming weekend, Jordan Booker and the Phoenix Tools Honda racing team are making their way down to Landrake in Cornwall for the first round of the Phoenix Tools South West Championship.
