Cairoli hits the magic 50 GP wins
Big congrats to Tony Cairoli for his 50th GP victory at the GP of Loket this weekend.
Tony now ranks among the top 3 GP winners of all time alongside Everts, Smets and Robert all from Belgium.
Tony Cairoli “I’m happy that I was able to win on this track that I don’t particularly love. I knew Pourcel would have been fast and in fact, on the first run I was able to control him. On the second run, I had a good start but at the first turn Goncalves made me go slightly out of it. Since that moment on, I focused on studying the competitors and eventually I’ve been able to do my race. 50 victories in my career …It’s great to obtain such a result, but I’ll be focusing on the rest of the season and on the only thing that remains my primary aim – the sixth world title.”
