Early start to 2013 season as Hawkstone International kicks off on February 10th!

Looking at the weather from the same time in 2012, expect freezing temperatures and snow – certainly not the time of year to run a International motocross event and if you add the clash with the Red Bull Arenacross championship in Liverpool, the date of February 10th is a tad early to say the least.

Here’s the PR
HIMX have had to have a reshuffle on their date for 2013 due to the GP season starting earlier than normal in Qatar next year. The new date for the event is earlier than normal but this is the only one possible, it will be Sunday 10th February.

The Club had a huge turnout of riders and spectators for the 2012 Hawkstone International and will be hoping for similar again in 2013. With the new date change it gives spectators and riders the first opportunity of 2013 to see some of the best GP riders and also the best British riders compete against each other at one of the best motocross tracks in the UK.

The event has always been well attended in the past with spectators and has become one of the biggest MX events in the UK; it gives sponsors the ideal opportunity to kick start the new race season by promoting their brand / product.

Hawkstone are actively looking for more sponsors of the 2013 event to add to their current loyal supporters. Sponsorship prices start from as little as £250 – for more details or the sponsorship package please contact me on carly.rathmell@btinternet.com or carlyrathmell@yahoo.co.uk.

It is once again scheduled to appear on MotorTV which includes a preview programme. Also it will be extensively covered by the specialist motorcycle press before and after the event which gives a potential sponsor a prime chance to promote their brand.

For entry details please contact Gary Ford on ford542@btinternet.com – entry forms will be available at the end of November.
