Gordon Crockard injury update after horrific crash at Hawkstone

Gordon Crockard suffered serious injuries in his crash yesterday at Hawkstone Park, Gordy needed emergency treatment for a broken collar bone, broken ribs and fractured vertebrae, as well as bruising to his chest.

He also had his spleen removed by staff at Shrewsbury Hospital where as one stage he was under intensive care, and his condition is described as “stable”.

His manager Paul Maguire said, “Gordon will to stay in hospital for a while, “he has to concentrate on getting better and it will be a bonus if he wants to ride again.”

Lets just hope Gordy makes a speedy recovery and gets himself right before he even thinks about racing again.
