After a season he would rather forget Brad Anderson is now back to where he wants to be, racing at the front and challenging for British titles.
This weekend will see Brad race the first round of the British Open championship at Little Silver but things haven’t gone to plan over the last week or so.

From yellow to red in 2009 as Brad is now on the PAR Honda team
MOTO – Howdy Mr Ando, what’s been up to over the last few months in preparation for this year?
“I’ve been to the Orlando in the USA for New Year training and enjoying the warm weather, I came back recently and went to France and Lommel in Belgium for more bike testing and practise but things changed when the shit weather came and I pulled my back out, I’m still not right now so I haven’t done any testing recently because of my back.”
MOTO – Bummer dude, so what about this weekend at Little Silver?
“I know it sucks but I will ride because there are only six rounds so I can’t let them get to many points on me.”
MOTO – So apart from the back injury how is the new Honda compared to last year’s Suzuki?
“Well I’ve just had an engine done but due to the bad weather and my back being bad I haven’t tried it so I’m on my practise bike this week and next week until I get to try the race bike out.”
MOTO – Interesting, so you’re not riding GP’s this year then apart from the British at Mallory Park and MX3, do you feel more relaxed and focused on the Maxxis and Redbull series – will we see the Brad of 2007?
“No I’m still going to do some GP’s that don’t clash, I hope! And yes the old Ando is back because he’s on a good bike.”
MOTO – That’s good for the fans to know – did you bump into many American riders while you were there and did you show them how it’s done?
“Yes I raced there but the tracks were to smooth for my liking and too fast, I got disqualified because there was a yellow flag out and there was a triple and I doubled it and they didn’t like it, but never mind.”
MOTO – HAHA I can imagine – good luck this weekend dude and for the rest of the year.
