As the International Dirt Bike Show opening day draws ever closer, two new faces to the UK, namely HM Moto and JotaGas have confirmed their attendance at this year’s celebration of all things off-road at Stoneleigh Park this November.
Jotagas UK, fronted by multi British trials champion Steve Saunders, and HM Moto UK, distributed by multi British enduro champion Derrick Edmondson, will be exhibiting at the International Dirt Bike Show for the first time this year. The attendance of these new manufacturers is an exciting development for the Show, and will extend the interest of the Show by offering visitors something different in terms of mainstream off-road manufacturer displays.
HM Moto has an extensive range of fully road-legal enduro machines, as well as trail, kids and motocross bikes, and Derrick Edmondson is planning to have a good selection from the range on his stand in hall two. The HM CRE F X and R ranges will be represented by the 300 models which are powered by 296cc engines and aimed at club level up to high-end expert level riders. Also on the stand will be a Locusta 200, which, says Edmondson, is a mild-mannered four-stroke trail bike. Lining up alongside it will be the HM Baja 125, which is a learner-legal four-stroke trail bike. On the ‘green’ front, HM Moto has two electric mini bikes catering for the two-to-five and five-to-ten age groups, and one of these will also make its International Dirt Bike Show debut this November.
Steve Saunders brought Jotagas (JTG) to the UK earlier this year and, in the new trials section in hall three, he will display the 2013 model JT trials bike in its three capacities; 250cc, 280cc and 300cc. He is also hoping to have something of coup for the Show, as he has been promised the first-ever JTG two-stroke enduro bike, in both 250cc and 300cc versions, for his stand. This will be dependent on final logistics, but if things go according to plan, Stoneleigh will be the World launch venue for the very latest machinery developed by seven-time World Trial Champion Jordi Tarres and Enduro star Miki Arpa.
