Its all change for Kristian Whatley as Kawasaki step in with support

Kristian Whatley has this week inked a deal with Kawasaki UK and Hanson Racing for his attack on the MX1 British Championship. Following his recent departure from CCM Kristian and Greg explained the reason for their joint decision. Kristian began his physical preparations with his trainer Julian Clark on November 1st 2008 , and is in the best shape of his career, said Greg. He has been training five – six days a week preparing for this season with the likes of British Superbike sensation Leon Camier he continued. With CCM concentrating their efforts on their Grand Prix team and Kristian being given different material to the main team and basically running the same bike as I rode in the Vets World Championship last year we felt this was not giving him the best opportunity to take his career to the next level.

We would like to thank Kawasaki for coming forward and putting a deal on the table at this late stage and more importantly believing in Kristian’s potential.

Putting Kristian with Julian brings back together a relationship that won the British Championship in the 90′s when Jeremy (Kristian’s Dad) and Julian worked together. With me working closely with Kristian, Terry Rymer (Former British Superbike Champion) and Julian I believe we have a great team which will see Kristian give the results that everyone knows his talent deserves.

A press release will be issued in the next two weeks, announcing all sponsors supporting Kristian in this exciting venture for 2009.
