It was the second round of the MXY2 British Maxxis Championship on Sunday at the famous Lyng circuit where there was some brilliant racing in the competitive MXY2 class.

Adding the the best future prospects to the Maxxis British championship is a sure way of getting noticed from the teams looking for new talent – and the crowd gets to see that British motocross has a very bright future with what is on show.

Ryan Houghton managed to get an early lead in the first race and managed to pull a 16 second gap. James Dunn came from the back of the pack and pushed his way through to second by the end of the race, with Jordan Divall taking third and now leads the MXY2 championship.

Ryan Houghton took an early lead in the second race with James Dunn just behind him, until bike problems put Ryan out of the race. James then went on to win with Ryan Mclean finishing second ahead of Adam Sterry.

Young Bradley Pocock took a big hit in qualifying breaking his right foot and heel so we wish Brad all the best in his recovery.

The series now moves onto the brand new circuit of Milton Malsor in a couple of weeks time.
