Loic Larrieu replaces injured Roelants until end of season
, the team offered him the possibility to race the last two GP’s with Joel’s bike. But on Wednesday while practicing on a track in his native region, Maxime crashed and suffers from a broken collarbone. He will have to rest during several weeks, and to postpone his GP debut to 2013.</p>
<p>As soon as he got the information, Jean Jacques Luisetti looks for another solution and finally contacted Loic Larrieu, who only did a couple of GP’s this year. Former member of the CLS team in 2008, when he raced the European series, Loic scored a podium result during the 2009 French Grand Prix and just attended several GP’s during the past two seasons. Only 21 years old, the Frenchman has the opportunity to race two GP’s on one of the best bikes available in the paddock. “ I got a phone call from Jean Jacques on Thursday morning, and of course I answer ‘yes’ when he asked me if I was interested. I just did some testing with the bike on Friday afternoon in Italy, and it was a pleasure to ride this Kawasaki; after several weeks practicing and racing on a 450 Kawasaki I need to get used again to a 250, and we’ll have several sessions on Saturday. I don’t feel any pressure, and I will do my best even if for sure I will be better prepared for Germany in two weeks; I’m really pleased to get this opportunity, and I want to thanks all the team for their support” said Loic who will not be the single newcomer in the team this weekend. Jordan Laccan, member of the NGS Junior team, will race the final round of the European MX2 Championship on a Pro Circuit Kawasaki; the young hopeful, who scored several top eight in the European series, will use the bike of Maxime Desprey this weekend. So follow the 202 in the World MX2 and the 222 in the Euro MX2!</p>
