Team Oakleaf Kawasaki returned to full strength at Pontrilas for Round 2 of the British Masters MX Championships, with Dave Anthony returning from a hand injury in the Kawasaki Masters class, and Tommy Alba looking to continue his recent fine form in the MXY2 class.

Dave’s comeback went well with 7th overall after after taking two sixth place finishes and excellent second place but a crash in one race left him down in 11th place. He now lies in 6th in the championship.

After not competing in the opening round due to a date clash with another championship Tommy didn’t know what to expect from the Masters MXY2 group but was hopeful of some good results, and he wasn’t disappointed as two fifth place finishes and two second places left him second overall to give the Oakleaf team their first podium finish of the season, much to the delight of all involved.

The team wish to thank all their sponsors for their continued support.
