Runner up spot for Dan Thornhill at BYN round 1

On Friday got a Wild Card at Milton Malsor, for the ACU British Youth Nationals run by RHL in the Open Class.
Woke up Saturday morning, the track looked good, conditions were perfect, went out for qualifying first, qualified 10th for the gate.

Pulled a good start in race one, got caught in a pile up the first turn came from 10 seconds behind the pack, to pull back to a fourth place finish, which I was really pleased with.

Race two didn’t make such a good start took a bit to settle in, as the track was very rutty and gnarly now, came over the finish in a solid third place.

Race three made a good start again, holding a good second through the race, we had a really heavy rain storm, came off quite hard on a really slippy part, and were very lucky to recover and finish in 9th place.

Sunday morning arrived, first out again for racing, race five had a good start, but disaster struck picked up a puncture and had to settle for a fourth place.

Last race, from a 6th place start, pulled up in to 2nd spot had a good race, and gave me a 2nd overall finish for the Weekend.

Overall Results:
1st Liam Garland
2nd Dan Thornhill
3rd Brad Todd
