Unbelievable happenings at last weekends Indianapolis Supercross and it all went down in the Lites class. Firstly the race was stopped due to a bad crash involving Kyle Cunningham, then the huge AMA rule book appeared suggesting that the restart should be a staggered start, not even Kevin Windham who has been racing since time began couldn’t believe his eyes.
Basically to cut a long story short if the race has passed 5 laps then its a staggered start with the riders lining up where they crossed the line on the previous lap.
We’ve watched it about 20 times and still don’t get it, should it have been a second gate start or was the staggered start fair?
Watch for yourself.
