Team GB AMCA head to Belgium for round 1 of the 2012 IMBA Championship

Lee Dunham can't wait to get going in Belgium

This coming weekend round one of the 2012 IMBA MX1 Championship takes place. AMCA Team Great Britain travel to Vollezele in Belgium.

Leading the team into battle will be the current AMCA MX1 Champion Lee Dunham, joined by Lee Payne and two IMBA debutants in Luke Meredith and Michael Reynolds.

Dunham finished a fantastic 3rd during his maiden season in the 2011 IMBA MX1 whilst Payne has also competed in previous European Championships, his best finish being 6th spot in the 2008 MX2 chase. For Meredith and Reynolds though the IMBA will be a totally new experience.

After Belgium further rounds will be held in the Czech Republic, Holland, Nympsfield in England, Germany and France before the series concludes at Amriswil,Switzerland in September.

Once again team manager for 2012 and looking after the lads on their travels will be Jackie Mitchell of Eastbourne MXC.
Good luck to everyone involved and bring home that title.
