The world’s fastest soap opera – Reed and Pourcel win in Daytona and Clarkey holeshots-V

Chad Reed with three laps to go had one rider in his sights to gain victory at Daytona and that rider was rookie 450 debutant Jason Lawrence, Reed passed Lawrence which put the Aussie star at the top of the AMA Supercross leader board.

The win was Reed’s third Daytona victory – Reed now leads by 11 points from Yamahas James Stewart who crashed heavily early in the race and had to settle for seventh.

In the MX Lites class Frenchman Chris Pourcel once again proved that Euros can ride SX too and with a great win from Martin Davalos with Nico Izzi finishing third.
