Click here for Enduro calendar As previously publicised, the Hafren Enduro, due to be held on 14th & 15th July has had to be cancelled due to the prolonged bad weather. Again, due to the weather, MWTRA’s Powys Sidecar round has moved to 5th August which has meant that their BEC round has been cancelled. This event WILL NOT be part of the British/ACU Clubmans Sidecar Enduro Championship….

We are now into the second half of the 2012 ACU British Trials Championships. The next round is this coming Saturday and Sunday at Ruby Rocks at Bagtor Baron, Islington, Devon. The important bit however these days is the postcode for the satnav which is TQ13 9RT, a great help when negotiating some of those narrow country lanes. ….

Back on Wednesday evening July 11th it was the 66th running of the famous Patchquick Trophy at Phoenix Moto Parc Nr Kingsteignton in Devon which again was sponsored by local business Phoenix Tools. With the growing interest in Twinshock enduros the ACU championship is growing in popularity and testament of this was the large entry in the last round at the Welsh Two Day. Despite being one of the toughest “Welshs” in recent years the twinshock boys showed their metal by being one of the best finishing rates in the event, it also saw one of the greats of British Enduros Geraint Jones back on a Maico that saw him dominate British Enduros in the early eighties.
