Toni Bou – Repsol Montesa recorded his tenth win of the season as he was victorious of the opening day of the Grand Prix of Great Britain that marks the final stop on the 2012 FIM Trial World Championship. Bou overcame difficult conditions as rain showers added extra severity to an already tough course at the Nord Vue venue near Penrith to beat his team mate Takahisa Fujinami – Repsol Montesa by nine marks. Toni Bou – Repsol Montesa signed of his season in style as he took yet another win today at the closing event of the 2012 FIM Trial World Championship. The biggest Motocross show ever will take place at Matterley Basin from the 16th until the 19th August, four days full of racing starting with the Amateur races and having the climax of the event with the 13th Grand Prix of the MX1 and MX2 FIM Motocross World Championship on Sunday. With three rounds of the championship cancelled amazingly the last championship round was back on Easter Monday! Due to record rainfall in June, the third round of the ACU British Quadcross Championships unfortunately had to be put on hold. So, riders will be raring to go at this weekend’s fourth round challenge at the superb FatCat Moto Park which will also include the Youth Quad Championship. The weather looked promising for Round Five of The British Supermoto Championship, but a very heavy shower left riders with a difficult tyre choice, the majority opted for a wet set up with Matt, Dylan and Steven choosing to opt for a slick.
