IMBA MX1 – Sand, Sand, Sand
The AMCA MX1 IMBA team head to Holland for round 3 at the superb Oss circuit, the AMCA lads will face a tough task against the sand specialists but will be looking for a good points haul to keep them in the hunt for the title. The team this weekend consists of;
Unfortunately Luke “Duke” Meredith misses out on this round due to his knee injury he suffered a few weeks ago, however Duke is expecting to be back at the next round!

AMCA ENDURO AND MOTODURO CHAMPIONSHIPS COMING UP
The AMCA’s National Hare & Hounds, as well as the National Motoduro Championships next rounds are fast approaching!
The Rock Oil Hare & Hounds Championship is running at the popular Owthorpe venue on the 24th June which should be an exciting round and full of action! For further details, click here.
Meanwhile, the AMCA National Motoduro Championship is running at the wooded Wolverley venue – a true natural woodland track which is sure to test even the most experienced rider! Further event details can be found by clicking here.
If you are interested in competing in any AMCA enduro, motoduro or rally event, including the National Hare and Hound, or Motoduro Championship, then all you have to do is register with the AMCA costing just £15 per year – see the AMCA website for further info. If you hold any other AMCA licence, then this allows you to compete in any of these style events.
AMCA CLUB FEATURE
The AMCA’s Dursley Motocross Club the club selected for this feature of the AMCA newsletter!
With a string of talented riders amongst the 39 members, including reigning MX1 Champion, Lee Dunham, MX1 contender and AMCA newcomer Luke Dean, including other championship riders Aran Agius, Elliott Barrs, plus MX2 Championship front runners and IMBA guest riders Carl and Brandon Benjamin, the Club is widely known as the Championship Club!
Their home Nympsfield has been a circuit for decades, with the AMCA purchasing the venue back in 1991. The hillside venue is one of the steepest on the AMCA circuit front with hills you dare not walk down for fear of not getting back up!
The club have ran many a Championship, plus IMBA events previously, and this year took the decision to host both the MX1 and MX2 IMBA Home Championship rounds!
One of the club stalwarts of the Club is Betty Sams who has been Secretary since 1984. The Club recently lost the Chairman, Steve Sams who featured in last month’s newsletter – Steve certainly won’t be forgotten and his efforts will be remembered by everyone who he touched over the decades of service to the AMCA and the Dursley Club.
The Club still meet at the Dursley Community Centre on alternate Wednesday evenings at 8:30pm!

AMCA TRACK FEATURE
The AMCA is always expanding and one of the long standing circuits is Bromsberrow in the Ross-on-Wye area.
The circuit regularly stages winter practice events, and with its deep sand and massive hills, it always tends to be a popular venue and enjoyed by riders!
The Gloucester Club are hosting their event on the 24th June at the popular venue which is sure to be a well subscribed event! With machines going in to completely regrade the sandy circuit – its bound to be a well preped circuit and an enjoyable day!

The AMCA has launched its own YouTube channel and would like for our members to send in their video’s or headcam footage of AMCA events on DVD, or via email so they can be edited and uploaded to the site.
Please send them in with a brief covering letter giving details of the event, the date, and other info such as the race class or more and take pleasure in watching the views tot up!
