Top 5 for both Keet and Waterman at Landrake

A test of a good rider is how they react when things go wrong and Team Dyer and Butler proved it this weekend in the Redbull Pro Nationals at Landrake.

Alan Keet and Josh Waterman qualified well but struggled with their start in the first race leaving them fighting it out at the back. Determined not to let this stop them they quickly began picking their way through the pack, spending the majority of the time side by side. The hard work paid of for the both of them with Josh ending up 8th in the mx1 and Alan 6th in mx2.
Alan Keet capitalised on his good start in the 2nd race, his solid, consistent riding style provided him with a 5th, and an impressive 4th overall.

Even with a full days riding in the 2 stroke open on the Saturday, where Josh came a superb 3rd gaining his first podium of the season. He showed no signs of slowing down and came in at an impressive 10th, giving him a 9th overall for the weekend.

“I like a rider, who shows courage and perseverance, and I’m proud of both Josh and Alan” says Paul Hobbs “It would have been very easy for them to settle at the back, but they didn’t and I’m excited for the next round if they can produce results like that from the back.”
