Vets MXDN Gallery from Farleigh Castle

09:08PM Sat, 18th September 2010

After weeks of great PR and every man and his dog in the west country knowing that the Wurzels are playing at Farleigh Castle, the 2010 Vets MXDN arrived on Saturday with a bang. For some the bang was the unfortunate noise of their treasured old steed going pop which is never a good thing.

The organisers have done a great job assemblying many great riders from the past and few from the present, all in all if you have time tomorrow get yourself to Farleigh Castle for one great big party – good stuff fellas!

Here’s some pics for ya!

Metal tanks must have hurt
Possibly the best graphics in the paddock
Still riding like a man half his age, Greg Hanson holeshots
Special place and a special man
Always a good choice for a vantage point at Farleigh
40 very loud two strokes taking off
Rikki Priest chasing
Gordon Crockard has still got it
Best get a member of the crowd to kick it - simples
Not the best day for Scooby, he's lost his peek and mudguard but has the best looking kit by far
Ben Popperwells brother
Josh Coppins was enjoying himself until his Maico went pop
Scott Elderfield looking comfortable on his beast of a 400 Suzuki until that went kerputt
And their off and the crowd go wild - sort of
A few corners later Brian Wheeler showed how to put a man on the deck - then went onto win - funny stuff
man these are old...one rider rammed them and they still didn't move
Best get decked out in team colours then
My fave bike and van of the day - awesome
Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
The man the myth NO surely not?
