Future West Promotions the promoter of the British Supercross Championship are excited for the
return of British Supercross to Birmingham’s LG Arena on Saturday the 18th February 2012.
LG Arena (formerly NEC Arena) last hosted a British Supercross Championship event in 2004.
Future West’s John Hellam had this to say: “After an eight year absence of Supercross from LG
Arena we are confident the venue and the British Supercross faithful are set for the return of British
Supercross to Birmingham”.
SX1 and British Supercross defending champ Tom Church will be ready to take on the best of the
Brits including former British Motocross champion Stephen Sword and Sheffield winner Adam
Chatfield. Defending SX2 champion Jack Brunell is also expected to come out charging along with a
long list of top British riders.
As always British Supercross will also see the return of future champions with a full youth and
clubman programme sprinkled in between the fantastic pro racing action. New to Birmingham will be
the 4 wheel quad class which always provides carnage and excitement and the very exciting head to
head one on one halftime elimination races.
