Brad Anderson Biography:
Brit Brad Anderson competes in the Garmin Arenacross Tour as well as the MX1 class of the Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship for the Buildbase Honda team, riding a CRF450R. He made his British MX debut in 2003, and was crowned MX1 British Motocross Champion in 2009 and 2011.
After spending 2012 racing in the Australian Motocross Championship for Carlton Dry Honda, he returned to Britain in 2013 in an attempt to reclaim his British title, racing for the LPE Kawasaki team, but could only finish fourth overall. He also finished second overall in the 2013 Red Bull MX1 series.
Born in Tow Law, County Durham, on 5th June 1981, Brad has been racing for as long as he can remember, becoming European BMX champion at just six years old, before moving on to motocross at the age of seven. Pushed hard by his dad, he went on to win numerous youth MX titles, and won his first major title in 2004, the British Masters Pro MX2 championship.
Now one of the older riders on the scene, Brad himself admits that he doesn’t have many years left competing at the top, and continues to train as hard as he has ever done to keep up with the best in the world. As well as winning the British championship, he was crowned Red Bull champion in 2010 and 2011, and has twice represented the British team at the Motocross of Nations.
