Spanish Endurance AGAIN PODIUMS FOR HUSQVARNA PILOTS IN RESISTANCE CASSERRE Last weekend, the riders of Husqvarna MB Racing, Josep, Edgard and Rafa Garcia participated in Casserres (Bergueda) an endurance test of 3 hours. For Husqvarna pilots this was an ideal good workout for the upcoming enduro races which will be held in the coming months. In the timed sections were led by Rafa Garcia, with his Husqvarna TE 310, until Edgard and Josep stamped the fastest time into the dirt. The classification was with Josep / Edgard, piloting a Husqvarna CR 125 and a TE 310 in first place ahead of Ramon Brucart / Alex Diaz both on regulars MX3 Yamahas, which made the result achieved by the Garcia brothers even more sweeter. Already at the start, Rafa Garcia put himself into first place and continued with a very conservative pace for the next three hours alone in front of the field. Soon after Josep overtook Rafa he was taking seconds from Brucart in second. When Edgar took over, he was able to increase the gap to his closest pursuer Burcart, finishing the race with a lap more than the second placed team which secured the RS1 Senior win and the first place in the classification “scratch”. Meanwhile, Rafa Garcia finished the race in the only to the solo riders dedicated RT 1 class in first place. |
