Bayliss is Mr 100% in British Supercross championship
Another year of action packed youth race action is now over in the British Supercross championship.
Two riders dominated their respective classes and they were Matt Bayliss in the Youth Lites and Conrad Mewse in the 65’s, both riders walked away unbeaten which is a pretty impressive feat to manage in any sport.
Bayliss did have to work hard to acheive his crown as Luke Norris and Ryan Williams both finished on the end of year podium.
It was mighty close in the Supermini class with Bradley Ward and Tom Neal swapping wins over the four rounds but Ward just managed to stay ahead and take the championship by only two points. Corie Southwood kept close and finished third.
Chubbie Hammond took the small wheeled title with a final round in victory in London which helped secure the overall from Scooter Webster (pictured) and third placed Gradie Featherstone.
After dominating the year Conrad now moves up to the 85cc class in 2010, so lets hope he takes his form with him. Runner up in the 65cc championship was Connor Hughes who finished on exact same points as Albie Wilkie.
In the auto class consistent Lewis Thomas took the honours from James Scott and Daniel Breen.
