<p>EMX125<br />
With still three more heats to go, Tim Gajser has been proclaimed the 2012 UEM EMX125 Champion today at Matterley Basin after having won the first race of the British round. The Silver Action KTM rider could not take the holeshot today, but he was already leading the heat in the second corner. Gajser needs still to race the second heat on Sunday in order to receive the golden plate and it will not be until the Italian round in Faenza when he will receive the UEM EMX125 gold medal. </p>
<p>Magne Klingsheim, who is second in the point standings, had a really good start and he succeeded in riding second from beginning to end. The third place was for the young French talent, Nicolas Dercourt, who obtained his maiden podium in the Belgian round earlier in the season. Dercourt had a bad start today, but gave it all to move from eleventh to third. </p>
<p>Simone Furlotti had an excellent start and he rode second during the first two laps, but Jaap Corneth came really strong from behind and they both exchanged the second position several times. In the end, Furlotti was fourth and Corneth fifth. </p>
<p>Home rider James Dunn was twenty-second in the first lap, but he made an incredible recovery and he crossed the finish line eighth. </p>

<p>EMX85<br />
Home rider Conrad Mewse dominated with superb authority the EMX85 qualifying race, firstly taking the holeshot and then riding with superb style until the chequered flag. The British rider crossed the finish line almost twelve seconds ahead of second classified Davy Pootjes, so Mewse seems to be the clear favourite to claim the UEM EMX85 Title on Sunday.</p>
<p>Davy Pootjes rode third during the first laps of the qualifying race, but once he overtook David Herbreteau, he managed to keep the second position until the end. Herbreteau had obtained the best lap time in the time practice session earlier in the day, but he had a small crash by the end of the heat and this is why he could not fight for the victory and had to settle down with the third place. </p>
<p>Fourth was Bas Vaessen and Lorenzo Camporese completed the top five of the EMX85 qualifying race.</p>

<p>EMX65<br />
Luka Milec from Slovenia won the EMX65 qualifying race with more than twenty-seven points advantage over second classified Brian Strubhart from France. However, Italian Alessandro Facca was riding really close to Milec in the beginning of the race, but he made a mistake and dropped down to third. In the end, the Italian was third, followed by Rene Hofer and Raf Meuwissen. </p>
