Kinver Auto Presentation night 2009

The Granary Hotel at Shenstone nr Worcester was the venue for Kinver Autos 2009 presentation evening.

Around 140 people were in attendance made up of riders, families and friends, all were treated to a superb carvery followed by the presentation then danced the night away into the early hours of Saturday morning.

Brad O’ leary was in attendance to present the trophies to the riders with club chairman Paul Chamberlain doing an excellent job taking charge of proceedings for the evening keeping everyone amused with his whit and banter (aided by a few double brandies).

Dan Hill walked away with six awards including the new Malcolm Brettle award for the top Kinver points scorer in the AMCA Championship and the coveted award of rider of the year voted for by his fellow riders and club members.

Class wins went to Zac Hackett inters, Richard Knowles juniors,  Dan Charles MX2 seniors, Paul Jones MX1 seniors, James Shand MX2 experts and Jim Shand M1 experts.

Top two stroke Championship rider went to Sam Price with Jim Shand picking up the Vets award plus the highest Red Marley finisher award.

Jake Chamberlain picked up the Hard luck trophy for somehow breaking his leg without falling off his bike,  the Tryers trophy went to Ben Hodgkins who rode the season on his 85cc machine against much bigger machines in the Junior under 18 class, new Kinver rider Harry Allport picked up the most improved rider whilst Club secretary Nigel Hackett deservedly picked up the Club person of the year award for all his hard work and contributions running Kinver Autos.
