I have been taking photographs for 25 plus years, but in August 2010 made the decision to concentrate on photography full time. Since I was a boy I have ridden motorbikes, from my favourite MX bike the RM370 to the iconic R1.
Photographing MX is always challenging, but never dull. From the youngest riders to the experts, in every qualifier & race you can almost touch the buzz of adrenaline, and feel that competitive determination to win.
The goal of my MX photography is to convey that sense of atmosphere and adrenaline to a viewing audience. If somebody stops, looks twice and comments on the image before walking on then I feel I have succeeded.
