Thor’s Mike Brown Claims Back-to-Back Tennessee Knockout Titles

For the second straight year, Thor’s Mike Brown raced to the win of the Tennessee Knockout Enduro at the Trials Training Center in Sequatchie, Tenn. With strong competition on some of the toughest terrain these riders face, Brown battled for the lead during the 10-lap main event, but with adjusted time ended up winning by 16 seconds. Teammate Russell Bobbitt also put together a great race to round out the podium in third.

At the penultimate round of the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship Series, Thor’s Blake Baggett maintained the 250 class points lead with a solid 4-4 moto result for fourth overall. He currently holds a 14 point lead over second in the championship with just two motos remaining in the season.

In the 450 class, Jake Weimer narrowly missed the podium with his 7-3 moto result, which placed him fourth overall. Weimer is now only six points back from third in the championship standings. Tyla Rattray bounced back from a second moto crash to finish 6-9 for fifth overall, while Broc Tickle overcame a DNF in the first moto to finish fifth in the second moto. He finished 12th overall despite the DNF.

The 14th round of the FIM World Motocross Championship took riders to the treacherous sand of Lierop in the Netherlands. Tommy Searle did what he could to salvage points in the MX2 championship as he raced to a 4-4 moto result for fourth overall. In the MX1 class, Gautier Paulin tackled the tough track to finish a solid seventh overall with a 5-9 moto result, a finish good enough to propel him into third of the championship standings. Teammate Xavier Boog came back from 17th on the first lap of Moto 1 to finish 12th in the tough conditions, eventually finishing 11th overall for the day.
