What a great event at round 3 of the Maxxis British Championship. After the wet and just plain horrible round 1 at Fat Cats Moto Parc, Cadders Hill in Norfolk produced superb racing in both classes and that big yellow thing in the sky finally showed its round and beautiful face.

Here’s what the riders had to say about their day.

Brad Anderson: “The weekend has not been too bad as I like Lyng as a circuit. Tommy and Leok were in a league of their own today, but there was a group of Karro, Aubin, and a few others, but I felt my speed was the same as theirs. In the first and the second race I had silly crashes and in the last race the clutch was fading a little bit. So I got 5th overall which is good as I’ve recovered a number of points to jump up to 6th in the Championship.”

Dorren Coutts: “It’s not been the greatest weekend for me, in qualifying we tried something different with the suspension which didn’t really work so it hampered my gate pick all day. The first race I pushed hard and I got back to about 8th which was good from the start I had. Then in the second race we had a problem with the clutch in the waiting zone, we changed the clutch before the start but it didn’t fix the problem so I had to DNF that race. Then in the last race I struggled a little with the start and then it was very hard to pass so I finished in 12th place.”

Connor Walkley: “It was a better day today and a big improvement from the first round, qualifying was going ok until my race bike developed a problem so I had to switch to my spare race bike so I missed the chance to get a good lap time in so that hampered my qualifying position a bit so I had an outside gate all day but I managed to get a good start in the first race and finished 18th and the second race I was 20th so I scored points in the first two races which was an improvement on round one. But I unfortunately had to pull out the last race resulting with a DNF which spoilt what could have been a reasonable overall position, but, I’m just pleased that on the whole it was a big improvement and I’m now looking forward to getting home and working on things ready for the next race.”

Jason Dougan: I struggled in qualifying; I wasn’t really worried about getting a time in and ended up eleventh in super-pole, first race gated third, ran third for about five laps, then dropped back to fourth, and came on strong towards the end again. Managed to get back on to Matiss and overall I was happy with that because I wasn’t expecting that because I’m riding in a lot of pain. Compensating for the shoulder is hurting my back a lot, and in the second to last lap made a mistake and ended up losing seven places and ending fourteenth. Overall I’m fairly happy because I still managed to get some decent points considering that I’m not 100%.

Tanel Leok: Today was good. First race I took the holeshot and the win, in the second race took the holeshot and made two small mistakes in the chicane up the hill, and Tommy got by. We were battling and I kept him close, but the rear brake faded again so had to settle for second. In the last heat, start was good, was second, but the first few laps were not so nice, made too many mistakes and didn’t find my rhythm.

Arminas Jasikonis: In qualification I was twentieth and it was not so good. The track was not really for me. The first race I couldn’t finish because the engine broke. In the second race, I was not feeling too good and finished sixteenth. The third race was going quite well, I was getting better and better, but I lost my pipe, so we’ll see how things go at the next race, it will be better.

Ben James: “I qualified in 32nd from 38 riders which wasn’t the best but it’s still all new to me and a massive learning curve. I have never been to this track before so I had to learn the track very quickly. I got a good start in the first race and got up to 23rd when I crashed and finished in 25th place. Then in the second race I had a bad start so I had to work hard to come through from the back to finish in 25th again. I loved it today, this track is so fast but it is a great track to ride, I’m getting closer to the points and hopefully soon I can break the top 20 and get some points on the board.”

Steven Lenoir: “I rode solid all day; I was unlucky in race three after a few laps, where I had to go slow to finish the race and get some points for the championship. After a few races now, I know what I have to work on; we will be a lot stronger at the next following round.”

Elliott Banks-Browne: “It’s been an alright day, I extended my points in the championship. I didn’t ride very well, to be fair. In the first race I really struggled with my suspension, crashed and my team mate beat me, so that wasn’t too good and I ended third. Then I had two seconds; in the last one I didn’t make things easy for myself. Jake was riding good and I just didn’t have anything for him today. In the second race I rode a lot better and he didn’t pull away so much, but in the last one I got really bad arm pump, so it’s just one of those days, I think. We have a lot of work to do on the suspension, set up the bike a bit better but yeah, I’m happy with the day and with extending my points lead.”

James Dunn: “I had a pretty bad day, really. I had two DNFs due to some mechanical problems and some bad crashes in the second race. I changed my attitude towards the last race and just tried to finish it. I did that and got a sixth and I was happy with that. I just need to keep working hard during the week and hopefully it will pay off at the weekend. I just have to keep at it and I’m looking forward to Italy next weekend.”

Gradie Featherstone: “In the first Moto I gated around 10th place and made some quick passes in to the top 5 I kept pushing and made the passes in to 3rd position and held that to the flag! In Moto two I got another bad start around 20th and pulled though the pack. around half way point i made the pass on Rob Davidson and Mathew Callaghan in to 4th and as I was making to pass on 3rd I went down and ended up finishing in 8th.”

Ben Watson: “Qualifying was pretty bad; I didn’t have a good time, I was around twenty-fifth and just couldn’t get a good lap in. In the first race I had a really good start, was seventh and dropped a couple of places throughout the race for a tenth, which was good. In the second race I had a bad start, took me a little while to get into the race, but I pulled through to twenty-second, which wasn’t too bad. Another two positions and I would’ve been in the points again. In the last race I had another bad start; I was starting to pull through and got to eighteenth when I ran into a fence. I picked myself back up in twentieth and then my bike broke, so that was a DNF.”

Nathan Watson: “Today was really good, I qualified second to Jake Nicholls, which I was very happy with and which gave me some confidence going into the first race, where I got a good start. I was around fifth, came through to third, when Elliott had a small slip-off, which gave me second, and I held him off for second, which I was happy about. In the second race, I had another good start in third, pushed hard, but ended in third. In the final race I had another good start, I don’t usually get good starts like this so that really helped. I was in fourth and Nev Bradshaw got me on the last lap because I didn’t realise he was coming up behind me, so I ended fifth, but I’m really happy to be on the podium.”

Luke Norris: “Overall I think I made some big steps this weekend and know what I’m capable of. I finished 13th overall, my first top 15 overall which I’m happy about and know where I need to improve. A big thanks for all the ongoing support and will continue working hard to get inside the top 10!”

Jonathan Barragan: “It was a disaster today. I got taken out in race one, crashed myself in race two and then wasn’t able to ride in race three because I couldn’t see properly.”

Adam Sterry: “Qualifying was good; happy with 9th. In the first race I got taken down on the start and hurt my wrist and two more crashes dropped me out of the points. Race two, I made a good start and rode well to finish in 7th. Race three, I made an average start but came together with another bike and lost a few places. I made some passes and finished 10th so after the first race I was happy with my other two race finishes.”

Wayne Garrett: “Bit of a mixed day at Lyng today, still not happy with the way my qualifying’s going, I don’t seem to be getting a good solid lap in, which is what it takes, but slowly but surely it’s getting better each round. The speed’s not bad, lap times are not bad but the results just don’t show the speed. I will need to be more aggressive in the first few laps. In race three I was running around sixteenth in the first lap when I got tangled up with another rider. By the time I got going, I was miles behind. Pulled in to get the radiator and stuff bent back, took off for the second time and it just wasn’t happening for me, so I ended up with a DNF, not a good way to finish off. On a positive note, things are heading in the right direction, if I can get a bit more confidence and everything going in my favour, then Im not too far off, hopefully for the next round.”

Lewis Tombs: “Today was decent; I had a tenth overall. I had a good qualifying for a change and got into super pole, ended up eleventh, which is good. First race had a good start, but got tangled up on the start straight and had to work my way through and ended up eighteenth. I knew I was riding pretty good, was happy with my speed but the result wasn’t great. In the second race had a good start again, was tenth and did most of the race there, but in the last couple of laps a few riders crashed, so I ended up eighth, which is a pretty good result considering the first one. In the last race I just couldn’t get into it, ended up eleventh, but I rode decently today so am quite pleased.”

Alfie Smith: In qualifying I just missed out on super-pole which was quite good. The first race wasn’t too bad, had a good start, started pulling through and got up to tenth. Last week I dislocated my shoulder so I was struggling a little with injury and started fading towards to end and finished fourteenth. In the second race went out, had another crash on the first lap, got run over by a few people, when the shoulder really started aching and had no strength in it, and it felt dangerous on the track to be honest. I got into a few shapes and decided to pull in for safety sake. I didn’t go out for the last race for the same reason.

Lewis Trickett: First race was really good. I had an average start, just kept coming through, felt really strong until the end and was really enjoying myself, and pulled off a thirteenth which I was happy with. In the second race, I was going really good again in fifteenth, when the silencer snapped. So loads of noise and a DNF which sucked. In the last race had a bit of a bad start and just kept pushing through and managed a thirteenth again, so it was a good day, I’m happy.

James Harrison: Today’s not been too bad, I felt really ill all weekend, and I’m just happy to have finished all the races.

Ben Putnam: Today was good, I’m pretty happy. I had a good qualifying, surprised myself a little bit, it was handy to have a good starting gate. I got a few good starts, obviously fitness helps a little bit, and I rode pretty strong. I think I was sixth and worked my way to second, and some crashes helped a bit, and in the second race got another good start and a good battle with Jack Kelly and kept second on the last couple of laps.

Matiss Karro: “It was good weekend, third place today felt like a win because of being injured before. I got arm pump in the first race but still finished third. Then I was 3rd again in the second race, but got tired and had to fight to keep the position.

“In the third race I managed to stay with the front two for a while but add a couple of mistakes and I lost the tow, so just settled for a safe third. Bike was good today and I felt good, so looking forward to the GP in Italy next week.”

Hot on the heels of the recent high profile signing of Brad Anderson, Maxxis Kawasaki by LPE have added two more riders for 2013 and announced their intention to concentrate 100% on the MX1 class.

Rising talent Dorren Coutts has just signed for the team and, alongside incumbent, Connor Walkley – who moves from the KX250F to the biggest KX in the new season – the team have a formidable line up as driving force, Steve James, explains.

“With so much interest and speculation from the cream of the crop rider wise, we felt it was time to reflect and decide how to push forward with our motocross ambitions. Taking into account the considerable support of Maxxis and Kawasaki Motors UK, we opted to concentrate solely on the MX1 class with a strike force of three hugely talented riders.”

Refocusing the Lincolnshire based team as the company’s official MX1 entry for 2013, Ross Burridge of Kawasaki Motors UK is optimistic of success saying;

“Ando is a certified race winner and will work well alongside Dorren who we know was on the wish list of a few major teams for next year. Added to that, I think the both of them will mentor Connor who has risen successfully through the Team Green ranks and may well be one of the dark horses in MX1 next year”.

Already working on machine development as part of a rigorous pre-season testing regime, the riders will all be making appearances on the Kawasaki stand at the Dirt Bike Show which opens on Thursday 1 November at Stonleigh Park, Warwickshire.

<img src="http://cdn3.coresites.mpora.com/moto_new/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/searle1.jpg' alt='Off-Road stars set to attend the International Dirt Bike Show' width='620' class='alignnone size-large wp-image-60708' />

Not long now until the 2012 International Dirt Bike Show gets underway, and we can’t wait.

Hopefully many of our Moto readers will be taking advantage of the ultra-brilliant Thursday half-price adult admission option, which, if you buy in advance, means you can get a whole day’s off-road fix for just £6. Remember too that you can still get reduced-price tickets from the box office right up 9pm tonight, Monday, the 29th of October.

It’s hardly a secret that a fair majority of visitors to the Show want to see the racing stars and hear what they have to say. Whilst it is still early days in terms of some of the racers getting their diaries sorted, Show organiser Joanne Watson believes this year’s event won’t disappoint, and can confirm a number of the top names will be at Stoneleigh Park this November. “It is a difficult time of year to get commitment from the professionals as teams change riders and the like. Also, once the race season is over, a number of racers like to take time out away from the ‘day job’. However, luckily for the Show and its visitors, a sizeable number of top names view a visit to the International Dirt Bike Show as a relaxing and must-do affair and we’re delighted to confirm that, with the Monster Energy Team CLS Kawasaki race truck out front, the World MX2 runner-up Tommy Searle will most certainly be at the Show. He will be joined by members of other Kawasaki teams, namely Brad Anderson, Dorren Coutts, Connor Walkley, Bryan Mackenzie and Alex Snow.”

From the KTM camp Extreme Enduro star Jonny Walker will be on Show duties, as will both MX1 and MX2 British champions Kevin Strijbos and Elliott Banks-Browne. It is also rumoured that Mattis Karro and Jonathan Barragan will make an appearance.

It has been well documented that Honda is back at the 2012 Show in its own right, but that doesn’t mean three-time World 500cc motocross champ Dave Thorpe will be left out in the cold. Far from it, as Dave will be at the Show with his new team signing Steve Ramon on the Thursday opening day and then again on Saturday with Nico Aubin who made a really strong impression at the Show last year.

Stephen Sword will appear on the Suzuki stand on Friday and Saturday of the Show where he’ll sign autographs surrounded by a comprehensive display of race bikes, including the RM-Z450 ridden by Clement Desalle to second place in this year’s World MX1 Championship, alongside Eric Geboers’ World Championship RM125 from 1981.

As the opening day draws ever closer, the organiser expects more big names to sign up. Regular updates will be posted to the website www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk and also the Show’s Facebook and Twitter pages.

If you know which day you want to visit the Show then you can still save money by buying in advance by 9pm tonight! Savings of £3 per ticket can be made on adult tickets and £1.50 on child, senior citizen and half-price Thursday options. To avoid missing out call 0844 581 0735 or follow the link at www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk

Round 6 of the Maxxis British championship was set for some great racing and it certainly didn’t disappoint. We spent the day following Max Anstie around with the GoPro as the young Brit was making his debut on a 450 Honda supplied by PAR Honda.

Watch as the day unfolds and keep a close eye on the Hawkstone gate sweeping brush bloke who single handedly pissed off a lot of riders by his lack of etiquette and respect, and to top it all pushing a rider is never a good thing.

And the Maxxis Girls outtake at the end is a classic.

In a fantastic return to form, PAR Honda’s MX1 pilot, Kristian Whatley came to Round 4 of the British Motocross Championship and found the speed and poise that has eluded him for much of the early rounds. Whatley recorded strong 6 / 4 / 3 score to give him a fifth overall, boosting the 450 rider to 6th in the championship and within sight of the top three. Team mate Dorren Coutts had a reasonable day for a rider still recovering from injury, and the 250 guys also gave their all in the hot and dusty conditions, all coming away with a handful of points to boost their season scores, with brothers Nathan and Ben Watson now sitting 12th and 5th in their respective championship.

Kristian Whatley – MX1
The day went alright really – the main aim of the game today was starts and I was right on the inside most of the time so I was really happy with that n- starts were so vital with such a tight track. I felt strong and in control in my racing today. In the last race I bided my time and overtook Swordy towards the end of the race and then waited for the last two or three laps before I had a go and managed to get past Josh (Coppins). I haven’t done a thirty, thirty five minute moto for I don’t know how long! The day was the best I’ve had so far this season – we’re getting there with the bike and the engine set up. I was happy with the day – fifth overall was a good result for me and the team.

Dorren Coutts – MX1
It’s been tough today – I’ve only just started riding again in the last week or two, so I’m building on my fitness again. I struggled a bit with the heat throughout the day, so it’s been a hard few races out there. I just need to get my training back and keep the schedule going and I should have a better finish to the second part of the season.

Adam Sterry – MX2
Today hasn’t been the best really, but I’ve never had much luck here! I’m just happy to be leaving the track without an injury really. In the first race I was within the top ten so was happy with that, but I made a few mistakes and tightened up which meant I dropped back a bit. In the second race I got much the same kind of start but felt I was pushing hard and I’d got into a better rhythm. But then I had a bit of a coming together with Luke Hawkins and we both went down. I got a few places back then went down again so it’s hard to keep coming back. The last race – well I’m not sure I really like that format but it is what it is. Roll on Desertmartin.

Nathan Watson – MX2
The day was pretty good – I’ve been consistent which is what you need. In the first race I fell a couple of times getting stuck behind people, but I managed to pull myself back to 12th, which was good on a track that’s so difficult to pass. Race two went much the same – I got knocked off by someone on the first corner , but put my head down and came back to 14th which I was happy with, The Super final was alright really, up against the MX1 boys was a new experience, but I got 8th in the MX2 class, but unfortunately you only get the points for the overall race position.

Ben Watson – MXY2
Today didn’t go as well as I’d wanted. In the first race I had a really bad start and then there was a pile up in front of me in the first corner and I stalled. I got back to eighth and I was riding well but I didn’t get the result I wanted. In the second race I was third off the start but I fell off again on the first lap and pulled back to eighth again. I know I can do better.

Neil Prince – Team Manager
A good day today, the last race today showed just how well Whatley can go. The way he has been riding is coming together now, and with a class that is so stacked and the way it plated out today he got better and better – this track is his sort of going and he showed he can go really well in these conditions. Dorren is still recovering from breaking his collarbone six weeks ago, so today was a good day. The final moto was a bit of a challenge –if it had been the usual 20 minutes I think he’d have been in the top ten, but because it was 30 he was pretty spent. The heat has been hard on a lot of riders today. Adam is a super talented kid, gets off the gate well, rides tidy, uses very little energy on the bike but again needs at this level to get his speed up for the full distance. He can be running 7th or eighth for 12 – 13 minutes but then loses concentration and drops back. The way he’s going he’s heading in the right direction. Both Nathan and Ben did well today – I think both of them had some problems at the start of their races but managed to pull through for good finishes – they are strong riders and keep going and going. I’m really happy with their performances today.

So with plenty of valuable championship points under their belts, the PAR Honda team have just over a month before crossing the Irish Sea to take on Desertmartin at Round 5.

The third round of the Maxxis 2012 championship took the racing to Norfolk and the beautiful setting of the Cadders Hill circuit. After a strong set of results at Canada Heights, the PAR Honda team were keen to build on their performances and score solid points in all their respective races. The younger riders of Ben and Nathan Watson and their team mate Adam Sterry had great days racing, showing that they are settling well into the team and feeling comfortable on their bikes. In the MX1 class, things were a little more challenging for Whatley and Coutts, both riders leaving the circuit with fewer points than they would have wanted.

Kristian Whatley MX1
Today was OK, but I didn’t feel quite so comfortable on the bike – we need to try different settings for sand like there is at this track. We’ve got testing next week so we’ll have a chance to make some changes which should be good as I’m still not too at home on the bike. The last race was good – I was running with Simpson and De Reuver but I kept making silly mistakes which were costing me places and I was getting arm pump. We had a problem with the engine which meant I didn’t finish which was frustrating as it was one of the best races I’ve had this year. But you have these days you just have to work from here.

Nathan Watson MX2
The day didn’t start too well – I got a really bad start in the first moto and managed to get to 18th which I wasn’t best pleased with. The second was better as I got a much quicker start and worked my way to 12th which I was happy with. In the last race it was a good start again and I was lying around 11th but I managed to work my way forward to 6th so the three results together gave me an overall 8th for the round – it’s been a good weekend.

Adam Sterry MX2
The first race was really good – I got a good start and managed to hold on and come home with a 9th place finish – I had a big gap behind me and I wasn’t having to push too hard. Second race was going OK and I was about 11th and then I fell off at the bottom of one of the hills so dropped back to 16th but that was alright – it’s the first time I’ve scored points consecutively so I’m pretty happy with that. In the third race I got another good start and was running tenth for the nearly the whole race but I got a bit of cramp in my legs in the last few laps and dropped back a bit to fifteenth, but it was OK because I still scored points in all three rounds so I’m happy. Roll on Milton Park.

Ben Watson MXY2
I’ve really enjoyed the racing today. I qualified in 11th which was not as good as I wanted, but I was able to improve on that for 9th in the first race. The second one was even better – I felt really comfortable with the bike and came in with fifth by the end, which gave me 6th overall for the whole event. I’m now fifth in the championship which is great.

Dorren Coutts MX1
The day went better than if I’d been sat at home! – I broke my collarbone three weeks ago and I’m pretty lucky to be on the track to be honest. I rode once on Friday for about twenty minutes and it felt OK, so I turned up here. I was running well in the first race – better than I expected but the bike had a problem so I couldn’t finish – things can happen like that in motocross! In the second race I battled on and managed to get 4 points, but by the third race I just couldn’t hang on – it was just too painful.

Neil Prince – Team Manager
Adam’s been good today – he wasn’t too many points off a top ten finish so he’s had a really great day. Dorren rode like a superstar really with his broken collarbone – he should have had an 11th or 10th in the first race if it weren’t for the bike problem. Kristian’s been around 5th and 6th all day really but was a bit unlucky in the last race so it’s not been a great day for the 450 guys. The 250 guys were good though so I’m really happy with that.

The team head to Milton Malsor for Round 4 on May 27th, and are hoping for a full house of strong results at the Northamptonshire circuit.

After the deep sand of the Fat Cat Motorparc in Doncaster , the Maxxis 2012 British Moto cross championship moved south to the beautiful woodland setting of Canada Heights in Kent for the second round. The PAR team were there in full force at the top of the paddock, with hopes to build on the team’s results from Round 1 and get some valuable points. With a punishingly fast and rutted circuit developing through the day, the team had some good results, from Whatley’s’ welcome return to form in the MX1 class to Ben Watsons promising start in the MXY2 races.

Dorren Coutts MX1
This weekend at the Heights went well, could have been better as I was laying about 4th in first moto just past Simpson and Dereuver, I went deep in a rut and smashed front brake had to the run rest of race without it that took a bit of getting use to. Second race start missed a big crash in first turn, I pulled up to 6th and in the final race I had another bad start but pushed to 7th past Dereuver and Barr but after such a hard push I had nothing left and finished 9th. Happy with 7th overall moved up the order in championship to 8th just have to see what the rest of the season brings.

Adam Sterry MX2
My day has been a bit up and down really. In qualifying I was thirteenth so was just short of getting into the Superpole, so I was happy with that. The first Race went well – I got a good start and came in with fifteenth, but in the second I ran out of petrol so that wasn’t the best! In the third I got an OK start, but someone crashed in front of me and with nowhere to go I ran into their bike. I struggled to get the bike restarted and by the time I did I was right at the back, so it was really hard to recover from that. It’s frustrating sometimes, but that is racing – on to Round 3 at Lyng.

Nathan Watson MX2
I was bit disappointed with my qualifying because I didn’t like how the track was riding to start with. Race 1 was my best result so far I got a great star and came away with a thirteenth so really happy. Second race wasn’t as good – I didn’t push and fight enough really so fell back a bit. The last race was red flagged and although I was just outside the top twenty, I felt I could have done better if it had gone the full distance. Overall I was happy with the weekend and I’m looking forward to the next one.

Ben Watson MXY2
Qualifying went great, I was in the lead for much of the time but came away with third so I was pleased with that. In Race 1 I was really up for it, but the race got red flagged about four times for false starts and whatever, then on the final red flag they took the positions from a lap back which was a shame because I had been pushing forward and gaining places. On the second race we managed to get away cleanly and I got a fourth place finish, which I was happy with but I thought I could have done better. We’ll just go on to Lyng for the next round and hope to do better again.

Kristian Whatley MX1
Qualifying was alright – I quite enjoyed it but I didn’t think the track was as good as it normally is. I ended up with eighth which I was happy with as it was a good start to the weekend – this is really my first proper race weekend with the team this year as my practice crash at FatCat ruined the opening Round. First Race I got a good jump, but I seemed to lose a bit of power going up the straight to the first corner, but managed to come out about fifth . By the end of the race I got a fourth place finish, which compared to last round, I was really pleased with. On the second race I was involved in a first turn pile up with de Reuver and Simpson and was dead last once I was up and running again. I just put my head down and kept ploughing on through the pack behind Sean. I managed to pass him, but he charged back but I still came away with a seventh come the flag. Last race I got a good start but I got pushed wide and buried in the pack. I was behind my team mate Dorren for a while in about seventh but he was riding strong and I lost my rhythm for a while before finally getting past him. After that I went after de Reuver. The weekend was good – it started well and I’m just going to go with it now – I’m only going to get stronger, so I hope I can keep the results improving.

Neil Prince Team Manager
I think the weekend was OK. Kristian has only been on the bike three times since his injury at FatCat, so today he did really well considering the lack of practice – it’s an amazing result. Dorren’s been strong again today – he was a bit tired in the last race so we are going to cut down the riding in the week before the events to save his fitness and keep his energy up – he does like to do a lot of riding! With Adam, we need to get him towards the front of the pack at the start – in the MX2 class if you start badly it’s really difficult to fight your way up, so we’ve got to get him focussed on the start and get the bike a bit better to compete with the other guys. We’ll keep working and go on to the next round.

The Team now have a break from the British championship before the trip to the east of England on the 6th May.

The Suzuki boys are putting in a lot of training at the Apex Motocross Facility at the moment and Sundaywas no exception. They had 200 riders there and as you can imagine it got pretty cut up by the end of the day. During the last 20 mins session Lewis Gregory, Luke Hawkins and Damon Styrdom went out and pounded the circuit which was by then the roughest I’ve ever seen it – very impressive stuff from these three lads, they were well “on it”.

They also had Oakleaf Kawasaki’s James Dodd and a Kawasaki mounted Ashley Greedy. Also riding were Dorren Coutts and top AMCA MX2 Championship runner Paul Neale.
