2009 Highlights – The Fan
Day three of our 2009 highlights feature and today we hand it over to super fan Brian Miles who spends his weekends traveling all over the UK to watch his favourite riders race – top bloke.
Rider:
My favourite rider this year has to be James Dodd . He gives 100% all the time and when you meet him in the pits he will always stop and chat to fans. He has proven that he will defo be the one to watch in the 2010 season.

My favourite photo of the year was Zach Osborne scrubing over a jump at Foxhills. We always see photos of AMA riders hitting jumps or styling it up therefore its different to see an American style seeping into the system. We are very lucky having an American star in our championship.
Video:
The best Moto video must be the meeting at Pontrilas ran by the British Masters. The sun was shining and the atmosphere was relaxed, everyone was happy and I think this video really shows it. This is what motocross is all about, a great soundtrack by the Stereophonics as well.

Event:
Favourite event had to be the Ken Hall Trophy. Great weather, relaxed atmosphere and its always nice to have the sidecar boys on the same day as the big international motocross stars, and the track at Langrish with its steep drop offs and cold hills is a reminder what a good scramble track should be.
MOTO Magazine Feature:
The best feature in Moto magazine has to be the interview with Mark Eastwood before the Des Nations because he spoke the truth, putting everything on the line whereas many others just say what people want to hear.
2010:
I think 2010 is set to be a great year with Coppins, Sword, Swanny, Noble and Church all on form and ready to challenge the defending champ Brad Anderson. One thing is certain, he will not give up without a fight. In MX2 we have young talent like Jake Nicholls, Scott Elderfield, Graham Irwin, Banks-Browne and look out for Luke Dean making his first appearance in the British Championships. It could be anyones year and unusual as its the first year I can remember where there is no favourite in either group. Good luck to all the lads and lets hope there are no big injuries. Roll on 2010.
