2009 Highlights – Jake Nicholls
Day two of our 2009 highlights feature today we talk to Red Bull KTM’s Jake Nicholls and his views on a year that was.
Rider:
For me would be Tony Caroli, he timed his year perfectly. He came in to the GP’s not smoking hot but just solid and progresively got quicker and stronger. He peaked just after mid season and stayed strong all the way until the end even with injuries, a well deserved title.

Would be the front cover of Moto in the middle of the year which saw Chad Reed racing at Unadilla with hanguards on, perfect attacking style, eye of the tiger and covered in roost. I can stare at those pictures for hours, but then I’ll want to race, GRRRR.

My Cribs video by the incredibly talented Mikey Neale, I know its easy to say that as its mine but we didn’t have much time shooting and he made a great job of it, I havent watched too many other videos either so I cant say, my PC’s to slow man…

The British GP, purely because the British fans are as we all know THE BEST IN THE WORLD…
MOTO Magazine feature:
The dysfunctional British team in last months mag, purely because it speaks nothing but the truth. For me the word TEAM stands for – TOGETHER, EVERYONE, ACHIEVES, MORE.
SO why put someone who got beat at the last round of the national championship and who everyone was doubting unfortunately even though he has been one of the country biggest success’s and a bloody good rider but had brought the doubt on himself even after a course of injuries, and someone who has had personal problems which is nothing to do with the rest of us, with who I and pretty much everyone else would call the team leader….
2010:
Is going to be a interesting and tough for all us riders but no different to any other year, put the hard work in and see what comes…
