Saturday’s qualification proved that the American’s would find it tough to keep hold of the trophy for yet another year but as a wise old journalist told me you can never write the Yanks off.
Sunday’s racing was going to be all about who could keep their nerve and avoid making crucial mistakes. Well that and a big amount of good fortune.
Some amazing footage aired for the first time including Cairoli’s last race crash and the moment Team America found out they were CHAMPIONS!
